Mentally, the self-confidence and self-discipline will lead to good judgment and positive goal setting. The practice of Taekwondo reduces stress and promotes the harmonious development of the mind, body and spirit.

Our esteemed instructor, Master Sung Lee is a three-time Korean National Champion and a 6th Degree Black Belt Master. An instructor of the World Tae Kwon Do Federation, he was a member of the 1993-1995 Korean Demonstration Team. He also holds a 2nd Degree Black Belt in Judo and a 1st Degree black Belt in Hapkido.

The Dojang

Dojang is a term used in Korean martial arts that refers to a formal training hall. It is typically considered the formal gathering place for students of a martial art to conduct training, examinations and other related encounters. In Korean Buddhism the dojang is the place where meditation and practice takes place in the temple. In the case of martial arts it is the place where one practices the path of that martial art.

Our dojang is well-lit and accommodates a variety of class sizes.  A smaller practice area is set up for the after-school programs where children can accomplish homework and do other activities.
